Please read these terms carefully before using our services

Danikai Shipping Solutions

Effective Date: 28 January 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Danikai Shipping Solutions (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our services, you (“the Customer,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by Danikai Shipping Solutions, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.

2. Scope of Services

Danikai Shipping Solutions provides courier and logistics services, including but not limited to:

• Shipping services from the United States to Jamaica only

Air freight and sea freight shipping options

• Assisted online shopping and payment services

• Warehousing and package handling

• Package pickup and round-town delivery within Montego Bay

• Island-wide delivery via third-party courier services, including Knutsford Express

Danikai Shipping Solutions reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at its discretion without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

Danikai Shipping Solutions ships approximately three (3) times per week. All shipping schedules and delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, inspections, carrier schedules, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

4. Service Areas

Danika Shipping Solutions services are provided in the following areas:

• Montego Bay (round-town delivery)

• Island-wide delivery via approved third-party couriers, including Knutsford Express

Delivery outside Montego Bay is facilitated through third-party courier services at the customer’s expense.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Providing accurate shipment information and documentation

• Declaring correct contents and values

• Ensuring items comply with Jamaican Customs Agency (JCA) regulations

• Proper packaging and labeling of goods

Danikai Shipping Solutions reserves the right to inspect, refuse, delay, or report any shipment suspected of misdeclaration or non-compliance.

6. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

Danikai Shipping Solutions assumes no liability for loss, damage, delay, mis-delivery, or errors related to shipments.

Responsibility begins once a package is received at our warehouse and ends once the package is handed over to customs authorities, airlines, shipping lines, third-party couriers, or delivery partners.Danikai Shipping Solutions is not responsible for:

• Vendor or retailer errors

• Incorrect or incomplete information provided by customers

• Packages lost, delayed, or misdelivered prior to reaching our warehouse

• Delays, losses, or damages caused by airlines, shipping lines, customs authorities, or third-party couriers

7. Lost Packages

In the event that a package is confirmed lost while in the custody of Danikai Shipping Solutions, the Company’s maximum

liability shall be limited to USD $50 or the actual declared value of the item, whichever is less, regardless of the declared value, contents, or nature of the goods.

Danikai Shipping Solutions shall not be responsible for:

  • Losses occurring prior to receipt at our warehouse

  • Losses occurring after the package is handed over to customs authorities, airlines, shipping lines, or third-party couriers

  • Losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete customer information

  • Losses related to prohibited, restricted, or misdeclared items

Any compensation approved will not exceed USD $50 or the declared value of the item (whichever is less) and will not include shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, or third-party charges.

Customers shipping high-value items do so at their own risk and are encouraged to arrange private insurance coverage. Danikai Shipping Solutions does not provide automatic insurance coverage beyond the stated liability limit.

8. Packaging & Fragile Items

Danikai Shipping Solutions is not responsible for damage caused by improper or insufficient packaging by vendors, senders, or customers.

Fragile items including electronics, glass, liquids, cosmetics, and breakable goods are shipped at the owner’s risk, regardless of packaging method.

9. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring all items shipped comply with Jamaican law, U.S. export regulations, and applicable international rules.

Danikai Shipping Solutions does not accept or transport prohibited or restricted items, including but not limited to:

• Illegal drugs or controlled substances

• Firearms, ammunition, weapons, or weapon parts

• Explosives, flammable, corrosive, or hazardous materials

• Counterfeit, pirated, or replica goods

• Pornographic or obscene materials

• Perishable foods or temperature-sensitive items

• Live animals or insects

• Cash, cheques, money orders, or negotiable instruments

• Precious metals, gemstones, or high-value jewelry without prior written approval

• Any item prohibited or restricted by the Jamaican Customs Agency (JCA)

Any prohibited item may be refused, confiscated, disposed of, or surrendered to authorities without notice or refund. Danikai Shipping Solutions assumes no liability for seizures, fines, penalties, or losses.

Customer Declaration

By submitting a shipment or using any service provided by Danikai Shipping Solutions, the customer declares that all shipment contents are accurately described, lawful, and compliant with all applicable regulations. Any false declaration or prohibited item may result in seizure, fines, delays, or disposal without refund, and Danikai Shipping Solutions shall not be held liable.

10. Customs, Duties & Government Fees

Customers are fully responsible for all customs declarations, duties, taxes, penalties, and government fees.

Danikai Shipping Solutions assumes no liability for customs inspections, delays, seizures, or additional charges imposed by authorities.

11. Assisted Online Shopping Services

For assisted online shopping services:

Full payment must be made in advance

• Customers must confirm item details before purchase

• Payments are non-refundable once purchase processing begins

Danikai Shipping Solutions is not responsible for vendor errors, cancellations, delays, incorrect items, sizing issues, or refunds.

12. Pricing & Payments

Shipping charges are calculated based on actual or dimensional weight, whichever is greater.

Accepted payment methods include:

• Bank transfer

• Cash

All payments must be settled in full prior to processing. Payments are non-refundable once service or shipment processing begins.

13. Claims & Complaints

All claims must be submitted in writing via email within 72 hours of notification or receipt. Supporting documentation may be required. WhatsApp messages do not constitute official claims.

14. Storage & Uncollected Packages

• Packages not collected within 7 days may incur storage fees

• Packages uncollected after 30 days may attract late fees

• Packages uncollected after 60 days may be disposed of to recover storage and administrative costs

Customers remain responsible for all outstanding charges.

15. Cancellations

Cancellations must be requested at least 24 hours prior to scheduled service where applicable. Cancellation fees may apply. Danikai Shipping Solutions reserves the right to cancel services at its discretion.

16. Privacy & Data Protection

Danikai Shipping Solutions is committed to protecting customer privacy throughout the U.S.–to–Jamaica shipping process.

Personal data collected is used solely for shipment processing, customs compliance, customer communication, and delivery coordination. Customer information may be shared with authorized carriers, customs authorities, and delivery partners as required to complete shipments.

Danikai Shipping Solutions does not sell or trade Customer data and applies reasonable administrative and Technical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, misuse or disclosure.

17. Amendments

Danikai Shipping Solutions reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and the courts of Jamaica shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Danikai Shipping Solutions and the customer and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
